The Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce is an open, entrepreneurial Chamber that benchmarks, tracks and reports on our performance by reporting on it at our annual business meeting, held in January of each year. This is the third year in which the Chamber has embraced and supported this process and it is this process that allows us to position ourselves to be proactive, agile and flexible in supporting you with the services and programs you desire and need.
Our goals for 2005 comprise three major tracks, revenue generation, membership and marketing/publicity.
For Revenue we are developing additional revenue streams such as our new lottery program as well as updating our membership value form and re-evaluating our member service/programs. In 2005, we will also be seeking out closer and more collaborative partnerships for economic development with SADCO and DOIT.
Membership: Our goal is to begin identifying our membership penetration rate as well as tracking our retention rate which remains higher, here than the national rate. Additional goals include:
